Are there any fruit trees that grow well in sandy soil?
My church is built on what was once called "the sand pits" and of course the soil is quite poor. What I'd like to do though is find some fruit trees that can survive with the least amount of soil

Of the 50+ fruits i grow, Longan, dragon fruits and blueberries, raspberries, and black berries grow the best in poor soil in my experience (then again I foliar feed 2-3x a month with nori (3 seaweed sheets per gallon of water) as well as putting crushed eggshell, coffee grounds, banana peels and fish entrails at the base of each plant.

By adding organic matter and fertilizer anything will grow. My land is totally sand at least 30 feet deep and I add fertilizer and leaves and top soil to my grow boxes , they reward me with an abundant crop every year. Start by digging a large hole at least three times deeper than you would normally and about six feet across and fill it with top soil, your trees will have no problem
