What does these symbol mean?
I was reading my new light novel a certain Magicial index & noticed the symbol on the back of the book, & I remember here some where that a star inside of circle can have very bad or dangerous meanings? So what does the symbol mean?

It's the same symbol that is used by the Masons representing O. E. S. Or Order of the Eastern Star.

It's a pentagram and there's nothing evil about it.
Look at a police badge closely. It is common that a pentagram is part of that department's insignia. It's a symbol of protection and defense, not anything subversive.
