are hospitals overrated and will we even need many of them once everyone has internet access globally?
whenevr I have a issue now I'll check with my wife's computer what the symptoms are and how to treat it and then if I need medicine there's always people around who would be able to get it for me even if it's perscription and if there's just like some exercises i need to do to rehab a injury or some spetcial tea leaves i neeed to eat i jsut do that and am better always without having to ask the hospital what they think, lots of my friends and their family have the same technique and it seems that if everyone had the internet then people could get rid of some hospitals and then only a few could remain for the serious diseases and like when my friend's brother got shot and needed surgery that you can't really perform at home?

The need for hospitals has diminished in few locations, in spite of 30 years of internet, which has a serious problem with garbage in = garbage out. Under Obama care, hospitals may soon have the same problem. Obama's Narcotic agents may soon be getting long prison sentences for people who supply even non-narcotics without a prescription.

You have to decide if you can accurately diagnose yourself and then treat what you think you have. What about the times when people go into shock. Are you going to have time to look this treatment up on the internet?
Take a tour of any ICU anytime and I bet you will be glad you don't have to deal with this kind of illness every day.

Probably. There are many, many things that you personally cannot diagnose without tests. Cancer, ER wounds, surgeries, diseases, etc. Many will require drugs, and you still need a MD to prescribe them to you. Plus there are drug interactions you do not know about in addition to many disorders, diseases, and syndromes sharing symptoms, and at that point it is hard to diagnose without specific labs.
