Colt Huntsman pistol?

I just purchased a Colt Huntsman semiauto .22 pistol. The gun was made in 1968 and has a 4" barrel. It's blued with probably 95 %+ of the finish and has checkered walnut grips. It's not a target model and has no box or papers. Anyone with good current knowlege about the value of Colt pistols have any idea what it would be worth?

I usually don't evaluate firearms when they're not in my hands. And generally I dont do it for free. But just because it's Christmas, I'll give you a ballpark figure of anywhere between 200 and 600 dollars, depending upon bore condition, action condition, and geographical location, for this time of year, assuming no major blemishes anywhere the picture doesn't show and an action and trigger in factory condition.

    Colt Huntsman Value

Okay whatever Tex. I'm trying to find out what the current market value of this gun is. If you recall in my question I was asking anyone with good current knowlege about the value of Colt pistols. I was not asking for a lesson in semantics. Once again what's it worth? This is a picture of the gun

    I'd say it's worth $30.98.

Which happens to be the exact price that Walmart has listed for a recent copy of the "Gun Trader's Guide:"

So order that book and make your own appraisal. And no, I'm not being rude. I'm telling you how you can determine the value of that gun.

Given that there are ones on GB that look just as nice and aren't selling for $200 no reserve, I'd say yours is worth $150 tops, probably closer to $100.

What's the value of a Ford F150 It's a truck, It's blue. You need a LOT more info to give a fair reply don't you. Things like condition and other features. WE need the same thing from you, condition, barrel length, any extras? How about at the very least describe the bluing on it. Does it have wood or black plastic grips. Is it scratched up? How much has it been shot?

The value is whatever you paid for it. That is, in fact, the definition of value, the price agreed upon by a willing buyer and a willing seller.

OK then, go to Gunbroker.com and see how much they are selling for, there are 17 of them listed for sale.
