how long do you have to cook carrots before they're overcooked?

someone who has betrayed me before is coming to dinner in a few weeks and even though we've tehcniocally reconciled and I said I'm okay with whats in the past and we'll move forward im still angry inside so I've been doing small things to inconvenience them and this is the perfect opportunity to do it again becuase they're favourite food is carrots so we promised they would be there but what we didn't promise is that tehy'd be cooked right and i want to make sure they're severly overdone. i was planning to boil them for too long and then take them from there and put them straight into the microwave for too long also so that when i put them on this guy's plate they look like normal carrots on the outside but taste more like charcol when he tries to eat it, the thing i dont know is how long i'd need to do those cooking processes for does anyone please have any idea as to a appropriate amount of time?

boiling too long will turn them to mush and lose shape! Simmer correct time then microwave them for about 10 minutes on high! That should make them inedible, but I don't know for sure as I have never done anything like that!

  • There is no way to cook carrots so that they will "look normal but taste like charcoal". Grow up and move on.
