Love is love and cannot be measured. People will express it differently but as you learn what means love to each other you can adjust to each others needs and desires. It is possible for one person to love and the other one to not really be in love.

I think it should be equal love. If one loves the other more then... I believe it will be difficult because the other person will not put as much effort as the other and that's a problem.

To be perfectly honest with you this thought never crossed my mind, because when you are in love, you really are to busy loving the hell out of each other to analyze anything.~~*

It should be equal love for each other. If it's not, it won't work. in my humble estimation.
