do you think are new dog is part coyote?
We just got her from the pound last week. Her ears are really long and they never lay down. She's got really skinny legs and a skinny snout too. She makes all these funny noises that non of the other dogs have ever made and she's always got this intense look on her face. The pound said she was a German Shepherd mix but they didn't know with what else. She's about 30 lbs and 2 years old

No, You would really know if she was. She would be she and not really like you. Coyotes are not pack animals like dogs or wolves. Her snout or muzzle is normal for your dog her legs are normal. Pulse it is very rare a coyote would breed with a dog ever more rare a german shepherd they are not known to breed with other species of canine but there is up north around Canada wolfs and coyotes breeding. But I very much Doubt Your dog is half wild

Nope. That face and those ears are 100% german shepherd. What she's mixed with is a mystery, could be beagle, a lot of medium sized mixed breeds seem to be beagle mixes. Or maybe cattle dog or even corgi(usually corgi mixes have weird stubby legs, but not always). But nothing about that dogs looks the least bit like a coyote to me. She's also very underweight as you can see her ribs too easily and she has a severe tuck. If she weighs 30lbs in those pictures she should probably be at least 40-45lbs.
