be legally responsible for the dogs injuries?

    Unless the contract to have them stay explicitly states otherwise, you bet.

    Yes, they are responsible for all medical bills pertaining to treating the injury which occurred while they were harboring the dog.

    Absolutely. Unless I knew that my dog did something crazy that I failed to tell them about.
