How come kids born in the 2000's are so vulgar?

I am born in 1995, and when I was growing up, you would not even dare say a curse word as a kid until you were in middle school. But I already noticed in 5th and 6th grade that kindergarteners cursing freely like it was no big deal. As I was growing up, I could witness it getting worse.

There is only 5 years difference, how is it even possible that such a changed occurred in such rapid time?

Oh BS, My son was born in 92 and there where many kids, while on their way in or out of day care. That would be screaming at their parents, dictating what their parents would do or not do, and cursing at them all the way. Even at that time there were small groups of young kids at the convenient stores and such, on the playing fields, that would be cursing up a storm regardless. Of who was around or what was said to them. Every generation, hell every decade now, the kids seem to get worse, parents seem to allow these behaviors more and more. It is debated whether it is true or not by all sectors of our society, I see the same pattern as the Romans took.

This is just how it is, younger parents causes them to be easygoing and okay with this kind of behavior it is considered COOL for them and once one kid does it they all follow. Peer pressure is a huge factor in it too. The media encourages this kind of behavior. I guess it's just what we have to put up with. FREAKING HIPSTERS! GAHHHH DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THUS GENERATION! Speaking as a freshman in highschool, but I'm an old soul, I have thing the others don't... it's called respect for other people! The other people in my school I don't get. I'm very introverted because if this, HALF OF THEM DON'T KNOW WHO WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE OR CHARLES DICKENS IS!!!!

Parents are doing their jobs are ignoring their kids. Some parents cuss infront of their kids or some kids just want to sound cool but they're not. If my daughter who was born in 2002 cussed at home (pretty sure she does at school) I would wash her mouth with soap. Overall it's poor manners.

I was born in 2000, and I didn't cuss out loud until I was in 7th grade. Sure, a word slipped here and there, but I didn't really start until 7th grade. I still don't really cuss today, either. So don't generalize. Make exceptions.

I don't really have an answer to your question but I would like to say I was also born in 1995 and completely agree with everything you said. It's very disheartening.

Because the parents do it themselves! You can't punish the kids now either because CPS is just waiting to take those kids!

because the parents of this generation of young kids don't care
