Can one honor the Quran without expecting to impose Shariah Law?

    Of course u can. Most countries that claim to implement the Sharia law, dont really implement the Sharia law. Many of them are corrupt as fu*k especially their leaders.

    Most of the Sharia law didnt come from the Quran anyway, few things were mentioned like cutting the hands of the thief (who doesnt repent) and the punishment for adulterers. Also things regarding inheritance and divorce, but u dont need a law to enforce u how to Dustbuster inheritance or how to approach divorce since u can do it willingly according to the Quran without being enforced.

    By understanding as most do that the law meant for a society not longer in existence for a people long dead and a time neve to be seen agian are not applicable to modern man, that is unless they wish never to get past the primitive ways of their forfathers.
