    No, as it's not a trial. It is a hearing of the prosecution evidence to decide whether to bring charges. So if significant new evidence comes to light, another hearing can take place before a new grand jury. This is unlikely as you would have thought the prosecutor would have done the work properly first and presented the best case to the grand jury in the first place. It would have to be something pretty startling and new to go through this process all over again.

    A Grand Jury is not a trial. A prosecutor can ignore the Grand Jury decision and take the case to court. However, since supposedly the prosecutor put the best case forward without defense being there and the Grand Jury still said no case, it very rarely happens.

    Of course, in the Ferguson case, the prosecutor did not have a case and did not try very hard.

    No. If additional evidence comes to light, you can still be indicted. But it would have to be pretty good evidence to make the prosecutor want to go through that fiasco again.

    No..and as the family has not sued in civil court

    the lawyers have told then the kid was a thug..
