Reload Windows 8.1?
My computer is 1 1/2 years old and has begun to run really really slow. I'm always getting high cpu usage notices while on the internet, videos and games are sketchy and very aggravating to watch. Will reloading windows 8.1 help? Will I lose any data or files because of the reload? Where will I need to go to get 8.1 reloaded. Thanks in advance for your input.
I have checked every way I know of to try and fix the problem (norton 360 anti-virus and spyware checks, CCleaner, defrag and all sorts of stuff. what else is available Fred?

So why not just get the problem fixed? Reloading could lose all your filoes and if the problem is malware infections it is high;y likely it will not remove all the infections.

Backup all the files you want to save either online or on an external hard drive. Then you can just wipe the hard drive, or you could go to your recovery directory and revert to a past back-up. (just search recovery in the search tab)
