Yes, each religion has varying views about "money". Generally speaking, these views date back to the time when the concept of money was introduced to that religion's culture ...

Every good American knows that Jesus advocated a totally free market with low taxes. The government are there to blow **** up the name of god and that alone. A healthy respect for money is something every good christian should have. But then the atheists come along with their socialism and ruin that dream for everyone.

what needs to be understood is our method of exchange in modern civilization is fully owned and operated by 'the world' for a specific purpose .. to acquire ALL the wealth from a population or region .. the system in present form is not Gods system, never was never will be .. unfortunately we have to live within using that system ,at least most of us .. but dont make the mistake of thinking the system or the wealth and materialism it brings has anything to do with God ..

It's not a sin to be rich, but it is a sin to idolize your money and put it in the place of God. Rich people should give some of their money to the church and to charity. Jesus said it's hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of Heaven, because rich people tend to think they don't need God because they have lots of money and live comfortably. However there are rich people who love God and will go to Heaven. Jesus said in Matthew 16:19-21 19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." I don't like a lot of the televangelists on TV because they try to get rich off of people, and/or they tell people God wants them to be rich. Being a Christian is not about getting rich or living a comfortable life, it's about taking up our cross and following Jesus, even if it means suffering.
