Can you find true love at a young age?
I always hear adults say "Young people don't truly understand the concept of love." or things like that.........But why can't there be true love at a young age? I am in high school and have been with my boyfriend for 6 months. We are both fairly mature for our age. I might be young, but why should that mean my feeling are any less real? I know 6 months isn't that long but we've been through a lot together. So I just want some opinions.........Do you think love, real love, can exist at a young age?

Yes. I'm 19, I graduated from high school earlier this year and right now there's a girl I know who's my best friend. She is absolutely BEAUUUtiful, we spent everyday together at school, we made each other laugh, comforted each other whenever we needed it.
She's a bit insecure about her weight (she's a plus sized girl), but I don't care because big or not I don't care about how big she is. I like her for her, for her personality, how smart, funny, beautiful, and sweet she is. She can try out for Cinderella and get the part. Whenever we hugged I had a feeling (it wasn't an erection) but I just had a feeling in my head, stomach, and chest... it was... indescribable. I felt.. something I never felt before so at this age I'm going to assume it is love. So I do believe hatchlings can experience love at a young age.

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 3 months but we spent every day for 6 months together prior to dating and I am so in love with him. I'm only 17 and he's 20 and heading into the Air Force in less than a week and he and I have talked about getting married and I so know that he's the one for me. The way he holds me in his arms makes me forget what people say about us being too young to really be in love.
I fall in love with him over and over again and I know that he is "The One." And I'm soooooo happy to have found him early in my life. Neither of us listen to adults when they say we're really not in love because we both know that this is special and that we are truly in love at such young ages.
You can definitely find true love at a young age.

Yes more than most times young love doesn't last. However, it still can. Many of my family members were high school sweethearts and are happily married. All relationships are different, it's just when you find your soulmate that makes it a really true , true love

I think it exists but most youngins don't know what to do with it when they have it because it's their first experience and they're still learning. Not to mention sometimes other feelings get mistaken for love. But no one can really tell you how to feel.

I think people say this because typically when your young, you haven't experienced enough things yet. So it's tough to judge a relationship, if you haven't had a ton of time and experience. But it all depends on the situation. :)

Hormones. Adults say this because a lot of "love" you feel can just be you maturing. It is natural. However, adults lose something when they grow up. That something is belief. They see things through a broken surface, comparing everything to their child hood. They forget the new age they are in and how kids actually react.
