Atheists. Do you get offended when a religous person says to you 'I will pray for you' because your belief differs from theirs?

It would depend entirely on how the person meant it.

If they meant in a kind hearted way and they believed that they were doing something nice for me, then no, it would not offend me in the least. While I am not religious myself, I find it actually quite kind and thoughtful of them, and wouldn`t tell them I didn`t believe. I wouldn't want to offend anyone who was only being kind. When things got tough for me a while back, an almost stranger told me they were praying things improved for me soon, and I was so touched.

However, if someone said something along the lines of, "I pray you repent so you don`t go to Hell!" I would be a bit miffed. I would never dream of telling a devout person that they were foolish to believe, and spout abuse, so should I not be offered the same kind of courtesy?

If the thought behind it is good, then no.

If they, for example say they'll pray for me because they think I deserve to be tortured forever because I don't believe the same things they do, then yes, I get offended.

No, I don't. I just say thank you. I'm not offended when people care about me. Now, if they wanted to lead me in prayer, I'd decline.

It depends upon how they say and mean it. If someone genuinely cares and thinks a prayer will help something, I will thank them. If they're insulting by saying they'll pray for me when in actuality they are saying "I'll pray you find my flavor of Jesus or else wind up in hell, so repent," I get offended.

If it shows care then why get offended. But if it shows their arrogance like, "oh God! Forgive this child and provide him with more sense", I'll be offended for sure, I can get angry and even start to fight depending on my mood lol.

If they are praying because I'm an atheist, yes that is offensive.

Only if they're obviously saying it as an insult.

Whenever someone says that to me, I say thank you and pretend to be grateful. Then I secretly follow them home and lurk outside their house waiting for the perfect moment to strike. I burst in and slaughter their entire family, saving the person who said they'd pray for me for last. Then I urinate on all the corpses, light them on fire, and rape the ashes.

Not at all. It's not like they are saying something derogatory to me.

Do I feel offended when a crazy person uses a passive aggressive condescending line of lying bullsh*t at me ?

    Of course not.
