Why do I feel this resentment towards my aunt?
I am 25 years old. I've been sheltered by an overprotective aunt all my life. However, resentment has builded up now. Yesterday, I spent time with a beautiful 28 year old woman for New Years. It was the best time I had in my life. However, my aunt calls me screaming in the phone to come home. She (her name is Melissa) decided to take me home so there won't be any drama. Now, I can't stop thinking about Melissa and I'm kind of resent the fact that my aunt made me come home last night when I could've kept Melissa company last night. Why do I feel this way now?

Well it sound like why you feel resentment towards your aunt. Because you are a grown "A" man who aunt call him to come home problem for no good reason. And because the aunt was all into your business and want mind her own.
