Would 雪村 雪子 be a right name? Someone told me its there name but it sounds a bit odd to me

Yes, it would be read as either "Yukimura Yukiko" or "Yukimura Setsuko" depending on how she likes to say her name. (BTW, since it ends with a "ko," it's more than 99% probability that it's a girl) Yukimura is a pretty common surname, and Yukiko/Setsuko is a common enough name that it doesn't sound made-up.
