What does these lines in the song Hotel California means? What are they talking about?

1)" Her mind is tiffany-twisted, she got the mercedes bends". - Why was her mind 'tiffany-twisted' ?

2) "And in the master's chambers,

They gathered for the feast

The stab it with their steely knives,

But they just can't kill the beast" Who's the beast? What?

-Thank you in advance for your answers-

The whole song is about living life to the extremes, financially, mentally and emotionally Basically wanting things just for the sake of wanting, but usually not being fulfilled when and even if you can get everything you desire. Some things cannot be obtained.

So she is Tiffany twisted, means she wants everything Tiffany, the jewelry store has to offer. She also wants fancy cars, so that explains the second line.

I've always thought the beast, was of course Satan or the devil. It, or he is at the root of all evil and cannot be killed. But that is just my opinion. Neil may be unto something with his thoughts.

    1. Tiffany's is a Worldfamous Jewler, so she's captivated by wealth. Diamonds, and fancy cars.

    2. It's a metaphor for Consumerism/Materialism, we attack it, we feed it, but we're stuck in a Consumption-based society, so you can 'check out' not consume, but you can't leave, society will keep doing it.
