Without a problem should run smoothly at those settings the gtx 970 is a good gpu for gaming at high to ultra settings , the processor is good for gaming, 16 gb of ram is good should be able to run far cry 4 at those settings with those specs as well and not being a fan boy about it

Different recording software, and processors were used. So you cant base assumptions off of that.
The 780Ti is the fastest single GPU card on the market, so the 280X lags behind.
