Positive pregnancy test?

On sunday afternoon at 4pm i did a pregnancy test as the saturday i felt very weird down below (no blood) and had some cramping on the sunday and i did the test and i rushed out the loo not waiting and then i finally rememberd about it 12 hours later so i checked on it and there was a faint line and the normal line.I went to doctors yesterday and he turned around and said we need it to be more convincing :/ i was like WTF man and told me to test again in a week.

I have done a test this morning which showed up negative

is the 1st test right am i really pregnant

Read the directions. They will say NOT to read the test after a certain time frame (usually no more than 10 minutes after taking test). This is why. evaporation lines pop up and can look positive. If it were a true positive then your recent test would have definitely been positive. Take a digital that literally says "pregnant" or "not pregnant" so there is no confusion.

You are not pregnant because we read home pregnancy test results between 2-10mins not many hours. So the negative test after a week confirms that you are not pregnant.

No you aren't pregnant- the first test that you left sitting for so long has just shown a faint positive line after being there for so many hours.
