Will taking an AP Stats class in FLVS make me pass the exam?
I have been an FLVS veteran for 6 yrs, but right now im pretty worried. I know lots of people have been telling me that AP Stats is easy, but I took AP Calc BC and failed the exam (like miserably). The problem was that I didn't practice enough. But, I usually am good in math. Anyways, my mom will kill me if I don't pass the AP stats exam. That's why I need to know if taking an FLVS AP STATS course will help me pass the exam (provided that i practice a lot).

PLEASE dont let this bother u!!! a lot of ap exams is luck too. the FRQ could be something that u're not very familiar with whereas someone else might be. and i definately think u should continue taking it. i took one ap my sophomore year and i didnt do well enough to get college credit for it even tho i studied for it. i just slacked off a lot during the school year and then studied my butt off towards the end but it didnt help much cuz i didnt have a solid base to begin with. i took 3 aps my junior year and us history was the only exam i studied for and i kinda hoped for the best on the other 2 exams. but i paid attention in class during the school year in all of them cuz i had learned my lesson from sophomore year. when ur taking the ap exam, especially for apush, WORK HARD DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. u wont have to work as hard by the time aps roll around. i got straight 5s my junior year, not becasue i studied for the ap exam specifically, but because i diligently did my work during the school year and didnt take the easy way out. i read almost every single chapter in the textbook rather than read summaries for it. oh, and i HIGHLY reccomend that u get the REA ap us history review book. there's also an REA crash course book. i highlyyyyy recoomend that as a way of reviewing the week of the exam. u need to still take ap classes, regardless of how u do on the exam. aps prepare u a lot for college level classes, so u're gonna have an easier time transitioning into it. and everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. u may be good at english but such at math. so u're gonna do relatively worse on math. good luck!

AP online classes won't make you pass the exam (obviously). Honestly, I haven't heard of people taking AP online classes and doing well on the exam.
