  • my parakeet flew into a close window twice...?

OK so my budgie had started growing its wings, so now it can fly rather well. well it decided to go crazy and fly up top to the curtains. Long story short, he flew into a window head-on twice. When we finally put him in his cage and clipped his wings, he seemed normal. He s preening himself (especially his wings, but they re not bleeding or anything) and eating and chirped a little.

I m just worried he might be fine and then all of a sudden drop dead.

    Please help.

  • I think my parakeet is sad....Please help!?

I got my bird (Cookie) last Wednesday. He was very active and it wasn t until we got home that he got all quiet. Now, he s eating and drinking water regularly, although he still stays in one spot sometimes. The problem? He sits in his food bowl for the majority of the morning and evening (btw, i have a perch bult into the food bowl and that is where he stands). He puffs up and sits there and eats every 10 minutes, and he doesn t really eat tat much. He is not sick; his feathers aren t ruffled they re quite neat (he just looks like a poofball), his nose is clear an not runny, and his poop is solid, ark green an white (he poops regularly), his feet are smooth, his beak is shiny, an his eyes are brighter than the sun. I m just worried he might be sad (he chirps a bit every day, especially when there is noise). I just dont want him to die, and I don t want him sad..

Also, since he s new, I had to take him out of his cage (I clean the cage from top to bottom once a week) and he s stil petrified of hands, so how do I tame him?

  • Will taking an AP Stats class in FLVS make me pass the exam?

I have been an FLVS veteran for 6 yrs, but right now im pretty worried. I know lots of people have been telling me that AP Stats is easy, but I took AP Calc BC and failed the exam (like miserably). The problem was that I didn't practice enough. But, I usually am good in math. Anyways, my mom will kill me if I don't pass the AP stats exam. That's why I need to know if taking an FLVS AP STATS course will help me pass the exam (provided that i practice a lot).

  • A "Friend" is inviting me to a party on saturday; do you think i should go?

OK, so i used to have a good friend. unfortunately, i accidentally told an embarassing secret about her to a couple of kids. After truthfully apologizing to this friend, our relationship grew cold. She proceeded to ditch me in front of everyone and act like she was ten feet tall. Eventually, I went up to her and we cleared things up. She said that she did hold a grudge and she apologized. . but im still a little scared of being friends with her again because she lies and makes up stories sometimes.

Anyways, one day, i had to take a huge step so everybody i knew would come up and congratulate me for this event. my "friend" came over and congragulated me. She came back again and invited me to go over her house with a group of other friends. She said: "we need to start hanging out more because i want it to be the way it was before". What was weird was that i, being 15 years old, was invited to go to a party full of 18 year olds. So, i don t know about that. Anyways, do you think i should go?

  • Does doing Zumba and running help reduce stomach fat?

I am 5'3 and doing exercises in my Zumba DVD. I am not chubby, but I do have fat in my stomach that I would like to get rid of. Do you think that by doing 30 minutes jogging and 30 minutes zumba each for 3 days help me lose my stomach fat?

By the way, I eat healthy stuff, except for the occasional pizza every now and then.

  • How can i not hurt her feelings?

ok, i have an instagram account and i follow one of my friends, whose name is claire. the problem is claire is extremely negative. most of the times, she posts really depressing and scary pictures. she'll have pictures of people cutting or hanging themselves, or she'll have a picture of her with a sad caption that says that she is so ugly (when in reeality she is very beautiful). the thing is this is affecting me to the point where i start thinking like her. she does not contemplate suicide. her only problem is that she want so much attention, and she will stop at nothing to get it. like for example, many of her so called friends ditch her and she'll cry and confide in me all the terrible things that they did to her. and then boom! she's back with them again. this cycle keeps on repeating itself.

so anyways, this is affecting me and my mother wants me to unfollow her. but, knowing claire, i kno tat she will tink that it's the end of the world and hate me forever. so how can i not hurt her feelings and at the same time unfollow her?

p.s. i will still be friends with her, but not to the point where my feelings get involved.

  • what subjects are covered in the sats?

hi, i recently took an ap calculus bc exam for the 2013-2014 school yr. unfortunately, i failed it. i am planning on taking the sats for 11th and 12th grade. (btw, i'll be going to 11th grade for the 2014-2015 school yr). i am just curious as to the specific subjects covered in the sat for the11th and 12th grade. the thing is, i just want to know if i should take ap calculus bc for 2014-2015. if calculus isn't used in the sat for 11th grade, then i won't be taking it.

this is why i need to know what subjects will i be tested on for sat 11th and 12th grades.

could u please send me a document or something that will show me what subjects are used in the sat?

    thanks!

  • PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ARAMETRIC PROBLEM!?

You may use your calculator but all work must be shown.

Part of a cross–country skier′s path can be described with the vector function

    r = ( 2 + 6t + 2cos(t), ( 15 – t )( 1 – sin(t) ) for 0 ≤ t ≤ 15 minutes, with x and y measured in meters.

The derivatives of these functions are given by

    x ′(t) = 6 – 2 sin(t) and y′(t) = – 15cos(t) + tcos(t) – 1 + sin(t).

Find the slope of the path at time t = 4. Show the computations that lead to your answer.

Find the acceleration vector of the skier when the skier's horizontal position is x = 60.

Find the speed, in meters/min of the skier when he is at his maximum height.

Find the total distance in meters that the skier travels from t = 0 to t = 15 minutes.

  • Ballet Ab workout?

I dance ballet. Currently, am in pre-elementary class, which means that the teacher focuses on working on the legs and posture. However, she doesn't really specify on the stomach.I know that, when it comes to dancing, you must suck in your tummy, and that can help flatten it.

but id like ballet exercises that, combined with healthy eating, can help me lower my stomach.

  • Can you please help me in this taylor polynomial problem?!?

    A function f has derivatives of all orders for all real numbers, x. Assume f(3)= −4, f ′(3) =7, f "(3) = 8 and the third derivative of f at x = 3 is −9.

a, Write the 3rd degree Taylor polynomial for f about x = 3 and use it to approximate f (2.5).

    b. The fourth derivative of f satisfies the inequality f(4) (x) ≤ 3 for all x in the interval [ 2.5, 3]. Use the LaGrange error bound on the approximation to f (2.5) found in part (a) to explain why f(2.5) cannot equal −8.

    c. Write a fourth degree Taylor polynomial P(x), for g(x) = f (x2 + 3) about x = 0. Use P(x) to explain why g must have a relative minimum at x = 0.
