Find the points of intersection for r = 3 + sin(x) and r = 3 - sin(x)....?

1. Find the points of intersection for r = 3 + sin(theta) and r = 3 - sin(theta).

2. find the slope dy/dx of the polar curve r = 2 - 2cos(theta) at the point (r,theta) = (2, pi/2).

3. Find the values of theta at which there are vertical tangent lines on the graph of r = 1 + sin(theta).

Please help!!!!!

    use polar co ordinates formula. let me use a instead theta in this place r = 2- 2cos a ==> dr/da = 0+2sina So da /dr = 1/ 2 { (2 sin(a/2( cos( a/2) use this in the formula for finding r da/dr and substitute a = Pi/2 and r= 2
