What are some good games on steam?

The forest is great! Although that game gets a little boring once you've built a secure fort. As for TF2, Ive never played so I won't begin.

This game can be anywhere from competitive to completely laid back to competitive (like joining a team and planning strategies). It's been referred to as a "sport" considering teams go up against each other, as well as clans, friends, and pro teams.

Get Planetside 2. It's all out war with about 100-150 players. Easy to play and get hooked onto. The game is setup with bases and you have to control most to win. The maps are immense with 4 different worlds. You can also spend real money in the game. It's awesome!

The best FPS games on Steam are probably Counter-Strike: Global Offensive followed by Payday 2.

You should play Valve games like Portal 1& 2 and the Half Life Series

Yes sure should start playing video games again, I just recently got back in gaming and man I havent felt like a kid in so damn long, I love gaming thats my escape. I highly recommend you get back in gaming.

My personal favorites are Gmod, Star Wars battlefront 2, Star Wars Empire at War, and Outlast.
