Why am I feeling homesick now?
I am a Junior in college the same college I have attended since I was a freshman, and I feel more homesick now than I ever did as a freshman, to the point where I am almost about to call my mom and have her come get me. we've only been back to school for 3 days and I already am hating it here. I can't understand why I feel like this. I feel alone and useless.

Maybe you're missing home. It is odd because people usually feel home sick and get over it by the time they're already three years from home. Did a visit bring back fresh memories? If you haven't, I suggest you do so.

You are feeling disorientated. IT is a horrible feeling. Hang in there. Get involved in an interest of yours and go at it full bore until you forget about family ties, until the next Spring Break. Keep your nose clean, bad associations spoil useful habits. You are now forming the adult that you will become known as. Character is developed during the journey of life. Develop fortitude, resolve, perseverance, confidence, troubleshooting abilities, life-skills (cleaning up your own mess :)..........keeping yourself out of trouble, not afraid to say, "No" to nefarious activities..........welcome to adulthood!
