Las Vegas strip to Springs Preserve?

What is the best way to get from the Las Vegas strip -- the Paris, for example--to Springs Preserve and the state museum near it. I intend to go by bus. Will I get shanked along the way?

From the Paris take the SDX bus. Get of at Casino Center and Garces. You'll be around Fremont Street. Walk to the Bonneville Transit Station and transfer to the 207 Westbound bus. Get off at Meadows and South Valley View. Meadows Mall should be right there. Walk West on South Valley View to get to the Springs Preserve (about one mile) or East to get to the State Museum. This is a relatively safe area to be in so you shouldn't be bothered.

Go to the RTC Website Plan Your Ride, (http://www.rtcsnv.com/transit/) and enter in your start address (Paris Hotel - 3655 Las Vegas Boulevard South Las Vegas , NV 89109) and the destination address of the Springs Preserve (333 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89107) and click go! It will tell you the way to get there.

Or on the Springs Reserve website, they have a directions page - http://www.springspreserve.org/apps/location/findu...
