Size matters -- why is my PDF so large? I've just made a PDF of a newsletter that had been prepared with Microsoft Publisher. To my shock, the PDF is even larger than the original PUB file. Any tips on how to reduce its size?

When creating PDFs from Publisher 2010, a long period of satisfactory performance has mutated into one that sees me consistently producing PDFs that drop off material, sometimes individual letters, or put each page on an two-page backbground (that can't be changed.) I suspect some minor setting(s) have been inadvertently changed, with big problems resulting.
