Is GTA V as good as everyone says?

Yes it's a really good game! In the beginning you might find it a bit slow because it's just setting up the characters and showing you the controls. When you start doing the heists it gets really interesting. There are also a lot of fun side missions to do and other fun open world activities such as sky diving and racing. It's much more than 'just a shooter where your drive around' the characters are great and have interesting personalities, the graphics are amazing as well as the story.

It's by far the best and most expansive game in the series. Is it worth playing, yes, but are there other better games, yes as well. GTA V is a good game for both casual and hardcore gamers. The story mode is very pick up and play friendly, and GTA Online is good for people who have a lot of time to drop into a game, but fun for causal gamers as well. My suggestion, buy it used at GameStop, if you don't like it you can return it within seven days for all your money back.

I own and have played every gta game.gta 5 is a good game but its NOT a 10 because there are no games worth giving a 10 to,especially these days.i would give it a 7/10 and call it a major improvement over gta 4.the 3 main characters are fun to switch between and its a good size map to play around in.

personally, I find the game to be amazing. The graphics are simply beautiful, it is immersive and the story line is put together very well. gta v puts together some new features like having three main characters you can switch between (I find myself hating Trevor). I do find the new weapon wheel to be annoying but the weapons itself are fantastic. They come out with free downloadable content every now and then to keep you refreshed with the content. I personally play for the online aspect. I have friends I play with everyday and there always seems to be something that will keep us dying of laughter. Gta is the only reason I got the ps4 and the only game I bought for the ps4 that I already have on my PS3. The pros of this game definitely out weigh the cons enough for this to be considered a great game.

Well put it this way, what you said about the game just made people go up in flames, Your so off, complete opposite of what you said, i've never seen as in depth characters as the ones in gta 5. The missions are complex and theres so damn much to do. One of the best stories i've ever played through.

I used to be a GTA fanboy and played every GTA to 100% up until GTA V. I lost interest and did't even buy it. I played it at friends house and honestly its a good game but its nothing to go crazy about. I watched the story line on youtube and its a great story line and funny to. For gamers its a great game. For casual games it ehh.

You've obviously never played a gta game before. It's very good. The missions are amazing and it has tons of activities to do.

It may look boring but i think that it is one of the best games ever made
