How do I get my hair to grow back to normal after a perm?

I got my hair permed a couple months ago, and my hair has not been growing the same way it always used to. It used to grow really quick all round, but now the only part that really grows at all is the top and the sides are not as long...

I am 20 years male, what should I do to get it back to normal?

It's not 1980 why are you perming your hair. Just slick it back and blow dry it out until its back to a suitable length.

Start from scratch...shave or cur your hair very short and wait for your hair to grow out.
