I drove 752.3 miles on one tank in my 07 Accord, averaging 39.7 mpg. Can you believe it?
I filled up in Fredericksburg, VA and drove all the way to Ocala, FL on that tank. I kept it around 65, except in traffic, which I hit a lot of going through the Carolinas. I kept it around 50 - 55 for the last two hours due to heavy fog, which certainly helped. How far can your car go?

Could squeeze 45mpg out of my 1990 Toyota with almost no modifications.

On interstates, 40+ mpg with a 05 accord(130k+ miles on odo) is pretty much the norm for me. Keep those tires properly inflated, maintain a light foot, loose cruise control & most modern cars will surprise you.
