  • Can anybody tell me about the sasquatch genome project? How about it's DNA fingerprint admitted into zoobank?

What scientific methods and safeguards were used to validate the findings of the study? What are the social and legal considerations if homo sapiens cognatus is recognized by science and the government?

  • Can anybody tell me about the sasquatch genome project? How about homo sapiens cognatus as verified and listed in zoobank?

Were scientific methods used in this study? What will the legal and social ramifications be if the existence of this human relative is recognized by science or the law?

  • I want new shocks struts on 2015 Passat S. Which ones should I consider?

My factory ride is stiffly sprung, but too softly damped. I want to upgrade to aftermarket shocks/struts. So far I've looked at Bilstein B6, KYB gas-a-just, and Koni FSD. What's your experience or your recommendations?

  • How to get cat pee smell out of leather loafers?

Okay, so those stupid boy cats, which are relegated to the garage and outdoors apparently sprayed on my leather loafers which were in the garage. I walked in the river in them, then rubbed them with mud. I soaked them in warm water with baking soda. After they dried they still smell as bad as before. Is there anything that will neutralize the odor or clean it off and leave them smelling normal?

  • I drove 752.3 miles on one tank in my 07 Accord, averaging 39.7 mpg. Can you believe it?

I filled up in Fredericksburg, VA and drove all the way to Ocala, FL on that tank. I kept it around 65, except in traffic, which I hit a lot of going through the Carolinas. I kept it around 50 - 55 for the last two hours due to heavy fog, which certainly helped. How far can your car go?

  • If my cat may have worms, what is the best, cost effective remedy I can buy and administer to him?

He was taken by a neighbor and released about 10 miles away. After around 8 weeks, somebody found him and he was released back to us. He had lost a lot of weight. Formerly about 15 pounds, he was down to 9 or so. He is a Maine Coon, so 14 to 15 pounds is a normal weight for him. After two months or so, he is still not nearly as heavy as he should be. Without going to the vet and spending a ton, what meds should I give him as a precaution?

  • My wife is impossible to deal with! I'm at my wits end. What should I do?

We have been together for 11 years, and I have 3 children from a previous marriage. Today she got home from work and started by insulting my daughter's marching band. She didn't say flagrant insults, but implied ones. When my daughter took exception to her words and was backed up by her sister, my wife had a fit. She blamed me and them and claims that we are all against her! I haven't been able to get along with her yet today and it's been about 6 hours since she got home. Recently she came downstairs and yelled at my older daughter again for coming into the kitchen. Then she yelled at her and my son and myself when I was trying to just get her to calm down. This is exemplary of our daily life with her. She is damaged, seemingly beyond repair and we need help for her. We don't have insurance and can't get therapy. She has big problems. Where can I get help? Who can determine what her problem is and how to fix it? Some of her problems go back to her mother and her son(who is now grown). please help!

  • How should I prevent my pipes from getting clogged?

So, I had clogs in a couple of sinks in my home which I cleaned out. They were full of sludge and slime and some hair. Should I pour down some Drano periodically to keep them clean? Is there something else I can use, like vinegar or something that will work well? I just want them to stay clean and not smell.

  • When your wife tells you that "You people are not my family!" is it time to call it quits?

My wife complains that my children don't want her around. We've been living together for over ten years now. Is the state of their relationship the fault of my children, or is it due to my wife's damage? My younger two are now 13 and 16. I've been trying to help her, but she has no commitment to our marriage and family. She says things like "I have nowhere else to go!" I yelled at her because she will not let me speak unless I yell! I have always loved her and have tried to show her that, but she's convinced that I'm passive aggressive and don't care and that I've done things to ruin her trust in us. Am I wasting my time with her and her pathology? We have a dysfunctional life because of this and I want better for all of us. Should I call it quits? If not, where can I get help? We have no insurance and can't afford counseling.

  • Is it possible to be friends with neighbors at this point?

Okay, so to make a long story short, I have been having a hard time with my neighbors for over three years now. My next door neighbor seems friendly, and talks to many of the neighbors and has get-togethers sometimes. After being neighbors and being on friendly terms for around 8 months, I was hanging out with them and with another couple down the street. The first neighbors didn't talk to us directly and made us feel like we were given the cold shoulder. I then realized that they hadn't ever invited us over or spoken to us like friends. They seemed to undermine us with the other couple. Also, I've never spoken to the wife for more than a few words at most. I became alienated with the other couple(who has since moved anyway). Another neighbor who is friends with my neighbor stopped talking to us much. His wife used to bake us things, but when I went over with a cake, her father puled up and asked her whether she was okay. I felt very offended, as if I were being regarded as a stalker and that she and her husband weren't close enough to us that her father even knew we were friendly neighbors. Our relationship fragmented into virtual alienation after that. Fast forward, another neighbor moved in and we accidentally imposed on them when we were trying to be friendly and not let this happen again. The woman is now openly disrespectful to my wife and daughter and we now hate them. So, at this point, I don't want to be antisocial, but I'm stuck! What should I do?

  • which used car is better?

My son is shopping for a used car in the $2000 range, and has narrowed it down to two he is currently interested in: A 2000 Subaru Legacy with a manual transmission and 180k miles. The advantages are relatively good reliability, decent mileage, AWD. The other is a 2004 Cadillac Seville with 113k miles. The advantages are it's newer with fewer miles and has more power and comfort. My son will be driving around 100 miles a week typically. What is your take on these two vehicles?

  • Duralube vs. Motorkote? Which is better.....?

I've heard infommercials lately about Motorkote, talking about how good it is, but Duralube quotes various tests on it's packaging alluding to it's protection. Does anybody have any personal experience with either or has anyone seen any test results comparing the two? I'm interested in using one of them in my 07 Accord.
