Can anybody tell me about the sasquatch genome project? How about it's DNA fingerprint admitted into zoobank?

What scientific methods and safeguards were used to validate the findings of the study? What are the social and legal considerations if homo sapiens cognatus is recognized by science and the government?

I think Dr. Melba Ketchum, butchered the study pretty badly and there was a lot of cross contamination and sketchy science. They concluded early on that their analyses indicated Bigfoot all had mitochondrial DNA from a human female meaning a much more "bestial" animal crossed with a human and their hybrid offspring survived as what are reported as Bigfoot. It seems to me that they used a technique that used contaminated DNA and they were in well over their heads. I was following Dr. Ketchum's study with lots of interest and was very disappointed to discover that she seemed to be mistaken about her conclusions. Some of her statements were kind of bizarre IMO.

Dr. Bryan Sykes probably has a much better chance of finding evidence if there is any but so far he has only found known animals except for one hair I believe was from Bhutan which reportedly indicated unknown primate but I would remain skeptical of those results.

It was one of the most idiotically transparent bits of fraud ever to be attempted. The "scientists" claiming to have sasquatch DNA founded their own "journal" to publish their stupid, STUPID "results". It took about 30 seconds of analysis by REAL scientists to prove that what they published was nothing but a mixture of human and bear DNA. They were quite rightly laughed out of science, not that they ever had any real qualifications to begin with.

You need a live one or dead one to GET the genome info from.
