    in 3rd grade i had a bestfriend named Kara, she moved, but i love the name. :-)

    Pretty name. I actually have a friend named Kaira and it's pronounced as Kara. I like it.

    It's ok, just not my taste, I find it dated.

    But better than other common names such as Amanda, Lauren, stephanie, Jessica etc

    I prefer Kara to Cara for sure :)
