car battery help?

So i typically left my car outside for 3 weeks in -30 degrees F weather and now the car won't start. So is the battery shot? But I don't think it is because the radio turns on the car headlights turn on it clicks when I turn the key I jumped it ounce but I didn't leave it connected to the jumper cables for to long so maybe it didn't charge well I'm not surr I just need to know of I need to buy a new battery or not. Oh and the battery is an interstate battery and I got it about 3 months ago

    Hello

If it is only 3 months old then it should be OK. Connect the jump leads as normal with the last connection being the Negative to a good earth on your car (Not the battery terminal) like engine lifting eye.

Start the other car and let it run for 5 to 10 minutes to put some charge back into your battery, It will start a lot easier.

Start your car and remove the jump leads.

Now drive your car around for a minimum of 20 minutes and try to keep the revs up as that charges the battery.

It sounds like it just has too low of charge to turn over the engine. When it's that cold especially, it take a lot of power to turn the engine. Jump it again, and make sure to leave it on for a while this time as it could take a bit for it to charge enough. When you go to turn it on, make sure that all of the electronics are turned off (radio, heater fan, seat warmers, etc.). If you have an actual battery charger, that would be the best option.

The battery is pretty much frozen. You ought to take it indoors and let it warm up and thaw out, then check the charge level and charge if necessary. If it won't take a charge, then you'll need to replace it again unfortunately.

battery is too low,...it MIGHT come back with a charge,...it might need to be replaced,...lights and radio do not take much power to work, ..so it does have some life in it...try a jump start & a charge to full charge,...then a battery " load test"...to see if its any good

Get a 10 amp charger on it overnight and it should be fine.
