How to get into modelling?
Hi, I'm 20 years old, have a few tattoos, size 10 on top and 12 on bottom (although I'm in the process of losing weight and hoping to be a 10 all over..) and I'm thinking of getting into modelling.
However I'm not too sure how I go about this, or what type I want to get into.
I don't want to get into glamour modelling.. I'm too short for fashion, but I am willing for face type modelling, or even underwear..
I have red hair, green eyes and I'm 5'4. I'm not fat (in case you might think I am by my size 12 bottom, but that is due to my bottom being genetically bigger lol)
Any idea of how I could find out which modelling would be best for me? I did sign up to some modelling thing and got into the top 30 which guaranteed me a spot. But I didn't go for it..

I hate to bust your bubble there, but you'd have to be a size two at most to model anything and right now you're a plus size model which now begins in some houses at a ten. Even they are at least five six.
Only about one percent of woman are model size, its not a practical idea for most women and that's why the few who fit are paid so much, its a case of rarity, not even beauty, but simply size.
I'm not sure what kind of modeling thing you signed up for, but given your specifics they'll take your money and that's it. Unless you're the daughter of someone famous twenty is too old to start.
Its a very tough business. You have to fit the sample sizes and you don't.
If you're interested in fashion try another end of things, maybe styling.

Don't. You're almost at retirement age, (22 for models) and you're too fat plus tattoos. Sorry. Just don't.

You would need a reliable modeling agency, one who could tell you what is exactly involved. Then let them guide you. Donot pay a photographer to take your photo,s, or you could end up with some very expensive and unsutable phot,s
