Consequences of buying a scartch off ticket if im under 18?
So my local pharmacy just got this lottery/scratch off game machine recently and i really wanna buy some, im 15 right now, and i know you have to be 18 to use it, but monst of the time the employees are in the back and no one is near it, but i wanted to know, what could happen if i tired to buy one and i had it in my hand lets say? Would i get a fine?
I understand i wouldnt be able to collect the prize, i would have my dad cash it, but like can you get in any trouble for buying one, or do they just tell you not to use the machine? Thanks for the answers

They should not sell you one. And if you win, you will not be able to collect your winnings. So why don't you get an adult (or perhaps your parents) to buy them and make a deal to collect your winnings.

The main "consequence" would be that if you ended up WINNING, you wouldn't be able to collect the cash, so what would be the point in playing?

No it's not important enough for anything to happen to you. You just won't be able to cash it in.

These machines have a camera trained on them. You win a million, they check and you get nothing.
