Ok, so ive looked al over and cannot find an answer to this question. I am in New York, I am 16, completed drivers ed, i have my junior license and will receive my senior in 1 month. For school, i plan on buying a moped/scooter that is 49cc, i chose 49cc so it can stay under 30mph so i dont need a motorcycle license, my question is, can my dad insure it in his name, while i ma riding it? I dont care about the scooter if it gets wrecked, i just need liability, If he registers it in his name, about how much will it cost for him to insure? He didn't have a ticket nor any claims/accidents in the past 7 years. Btw he does not have a motorcycle license, which is why im sticking to 49cc. Any help would be appreciated

I have a chemistry project due next week, and i have to thing of something and describes how it relates to Charles' Law, and Boyle s' Law, a lot of the students in my class are doing engine, and my teacher said there can be no more engine projects, the engine would be the easier since the volume decreases, pressures increases, but i cant use that, so can someone please help me think of something that relates too those laws?

So yesterday at about 7pm i ordered one of those chinese io hawk scooters(not the real one) from a us seller, because im in the us and i didnt want to wait 1 month to get it, so whe i was ordering it, it was 7pm august 29th, and it said estimated delivery september 3-11, and so this morning (august 30) i asked the seller when he will be shipping out my order, because its for a birthday present, and he said t will definately be shipped out today (aug 30) but its not almost 11pm, and my item isnt shipped out and im starting to get a bit worried, because in my ebay summary it says that the estimated delivery date is august 4th but im starting to get a bit worried cause i already payed and my item isnt shipped out yet, the worst thing is that this seller doesnt have any feedback, i just seen that he sold 5 of these scooters and 6 people ordered them the same day i did so, should i wait another day, or should i message and ask again, because i need this to be delivered before next week, Thanks

So here is the backstory, my dad is trying to buy a 2008 ford escape hybrid, it has 16000 miles and a rebuilt title, my only concern is if geico provides coverage on vehicles with a rebuilt title, because i dont want my dad to pay this much only to find out he cant insure it, and also, what should i do if we buy it, does the state of new york require me to inspect the car as soon as i buy it? So Recently i got a green dot prepaid debit card, and i dont know whats up with it, so i registered it and they turned on my funds and it says i have $25 loaded on the card, i've spent over $30 with this card, i even double checked, Anyone with experience can you tell me if this can somehow backfire and end up making me pay, or idk because its really weird like where is the extra money coming from?, Thanks!

So i tried to put my ps3 in safe mode to reset it, i clicked option 5 to reset it, and now it says system software cannot be run correctly, so my question is how can i get out of this, my drive isnt corrupt or anything i can run it out of safe mode fine but now its just stuck in safe mode, how do i get out? So basically i have a Chinese 125cc pit bike my friend had a 140cc one and he had a rev limiter when ever the Rpms got too high it would make that sound badabadababa lol i love the sound of it, so my question is how do i install one, is it part of the cdi or a special part cause im pretty clueless anyways my bike has a 5-pin or 6-pin cdi if that helps, Thanks

So basically i was selling my dirt bike on craigslist the guy shows up hes hispanic mabye 20 years old asks if he can ride it, and im like "can i hold the money first" and hes like" oh hey look buddy im only here today for a test ride i only got $300" my dad wanted me to get rid of the bike fast cause he thaught it was dangerous so my dads like let him get a ride he went down the block a couple of times then i called him back, and he took of with the bike. My hands are tighed i didnt get a title from the previus owner but he was my friend i knew him for 3 years hed never steal a bike so i couldnt go to the police, 2 weeks after he stole it, today i saw him walking his dog in the park i went to approach him and give him the beating of his life he took a look at me then when he recognized me he looked away instantly and started walking faster, im kind of worried i really dont want to hurt him or kill him, ill never do that believe me im just scared that he knows where i live etc funny thing is this guy has balls, he came onto my front yard to pickup the bike and my house has 5 camera but sadly they dont record, i have his facebook picture and his phone number what should i do i? i got really attached to that bike, but right now i dont care if i get it back all i care about is if he gets locked up? what should i do? should i call the cops? So the computer im using is a sony vaio not sure the exact model but it has windows xp professional and its really slow, how do i wipe the entire c disc because i dont have the install cd or the product key, and if i go to my computer and right click hard drive c and click format it wont let me, PLEASE HELP!!!

So, i have a 125cc quad, its a chinese knockoff so you cant google it, anyway i went throught a big puddleand after that it died, so i pushed it home and i started it it ran fine but it died after i revved it, i took of my air filter and saw it was soaked, so i used my other dry one, seems better but engine still didnt rev, so i started it and tried again and i noticed if i give it throttle and it starts bogging out i can let go and try again and it will be good for 10 seconds, so im pretty sure because the air filter was wet, i have water in my engine im 15, but im pretty skilled, i dont mind taking the carb or engine apart i just prefer not to, but i dont know if theres water in the carb float bowl or in the engine, if you guys had this problem, please tell me what you did, i hear to take my oil dipstick out and see if theres a milky substance, i did and i didnt see any but the oil had about 50 bubbles in it when i did it, any help would be appreasheated

Heys guys watsup, ok so heres the story, i have a ssr 70-c pitbike, the bigger 70cc with disc brakes front and rear, and i had a winter project to make it a stunt bike, i added pegs, a wheelie bar , lights etc,

where can i buy a hand operated rear hand brake, i dont want to use the foot activated rear brake, my bike is a semi auto, so i dont have a clutch so theres room for a brake, can you guys give me a website where i can get a brake like this, i dont want a dual caliper brake, im ok with taking off the foot brake, srry i know it sounds confusing

Hey guys wassup, so heres the story, i have a 70cc pitbike and a 125cc quad which i will sell to get the apollo 250 dirt bike, its a big jump, but im confident that im ready. If you guys have one can u tell me if its worth it?, on amazon or other sites its $1,500 brand new i know most people say you wont get a good 250 for 1.5k, but i really like the styling of it, so do you guys also think ill fit it, im 14, gonna be 15 in 3 months and im 5'5, i have dirt bike expierience ive ridden 85cc 2 strokes, but id rather buy a 250 cause i dont really want a powerband that lifts my front wheel up lol, so if you own one can you tell me if its worth it, is it a quality bike, how much $ you paid, where you got it and overall how do you like it?

My dad is a complete asshole, what can i do to help him? i know most of you will say, "oh hes still your father, show him love", i posted a couple examples of what a "father" he is.

1-He gets aggrovated over little things, like he got drunk and smashed to tv remote because the batteries were dead, and when he was sober, he called me and said" why the **** did you break this remote" , im not a dick, i show respect even when faced with a ********,so, i said, it wasnt me, dad", and he threw it at me, and he just started pounding the tv cause he didnt have a remote.

2-He never lets me leave the house, i rlly dont want to brag or show off, but im strong, like stronger than him, im always out of the house when he is cause thats my only chance, my friends called me, and he said, "tell your ***** friends their worthless, and you can leave", from this day, i only have like 2 people i hang out with, my cousin and my best friends, hes from europe, he understands asshole parents from his country.

3-He always threatens me with stuff, last year i worked my *** off at a comvience store just to make $500 dollars, he has a nasty dent in his car, and i fixed it, i spent all my money, and i told him im sorry(even tho i didnt dent his car, nor did i have to apologize for anything), but he just said"...i didnt ask you for it", i thaught this would smooth our relationship out a bit but nothing. He just returned to being pissed.

4-Other than the $500 i had saved up, i had $3500 saved up, since i was 5, saving up every penny, even being stupid and cutting school to work, i went and bought myself a dirt bike, a yz85 if you care, straight from the dealer, which was 12 miles away, and i didnt have a father who cared enough to give me a ride, i would have paid for gas, and his troubles, but i thaught, whatever at least i dont have to see him, so i bought the bike home, and my mom just went "WOW, it looks beautiful, i remember my first bike", i said thanks and hugged her for agreeing to let me buy it, but then my dad pulled in the drive way, came out and just stood there, and noded, my mom, now gave me a serious look, go, put it away, it wasnt an angry voice she just wanted me to put it so my dad ddint get mad, the next day i came back from school, and i was SHOCKED, both wheels were deflated and the engine was in peices and there were hammer marks all over it, my dad has no respect for my things, he doesnt know how to treat a woman, or a child, or EVEN another man. Im still in shock now, and i grew 3 years older, im 16 now.

My dad is an alcholic, but worst he has a gambling problem, he getts stress everyday when he stupidly walks into the casino with his $1000 check and leaves with $1, he is the worst person ever, i dispize him in every way, one day when i was 14 my girlfriends came over, we werent doing anything, just a bit of studying,, my dad came in and just looked at her and went "you get the **** out of my house,before we have problems", what can i do to calm him down, its not just stress, hes just naturally a *****, all my granddad every did was hit him, so now hes passing it on to me, i cant talkk to police because i dont want to stress my mom any more than she is now, who can i talk to???, i dont want it to end in violent, but if i have to , i will!

So i got an ssr 70-c its really small, im 14, and 5'6, i raised the rear suspension with thick washers, and bought a gripper seat to make it 3 inches taller, so anyway i am gonna buy a bigger engine since i dont really wanna get a bigger bike altogether, i like this one it has pegs and a wheelie bar and i pop wheelies on it, so anyway i narrowed it down to 3 possible engines the lifan 125, 140 , or 150, i got a $550 budget but i would prefer not to spend all of it since ill be saving up for a street bike soon :) , so anyway, ive ridden my friends dirt bike, it has a lifan 125 in it he paid $300 for it with the set of carb wiring etc, i dont mind buying it but i want something bigger, id buy a 140 or 150 but then i need to pay more for an oil cooler and the wiring :(

My big question is, is there any 140cc or 150cc engine out there that is air cooled?

And can you guys give me the names of some other engines, my ssr 70-c is a honda crf50 clone, so any engine that says "a bolt in replacement for a crf/xr50" will fit on my big.
