Does Geico provide Full coverage on Vehicles with a rebuilt title?
So here is the backstory, my dad is trying to buy a 2008 ford escape hybrid, it has 16000 miles and a rebuilt title, my only concern is if geico provides coverage on vehicles with a rebuilt title, because i dont want my dad to pay this much only to find out he cant insure it, and also, what should i do if we buy it, does the state of new york require me to inspect the car as soon as i buy it? Thanks
Ps; Please dont say anything like :Dont buy a car with this kind of title' because i know, its just its a cheaper option for my dad

Generally no, since a rebuilt or salvage title reduces the fair market value on the vehicle by up to 50%, and most insurance companies will not alowl coverage beyond the basics.
But call them and ask to be sure.

Normally a car handled as a total loss has the title submitted to the state DMV and they issue a "salvage certificate". Once the car is fully repaired and inspected by the DMV they take the salvage certificate and issue a "Branded Title"(Marked Salvage). If the car already has the branded title it has passed the state inspection for repairs. It is a good idea to check with your insurance before purchase. Most Salvage vehicle are serviceable but have a lower value than similar undamaged vehicles. It can be harder to sell them or trade them in.

I called GEICO, and they said that they do fully cover rebuilt and salvage title vehicles. PLEASE CALL THEM YOURSELF to check if they do in your state and area. It's a quick phone call... not worth posting on here really.

Ask Geico. I have never had a problem here in the UK getting insurance on our equivalent.
