Have your grocery shopping habits changed a lot since you have retired? In what way - better or worse?
I have found that I am able to do more and more with less and less. I am basically eating my main meal at lunch because I get a free lunch at the senior center I volunteer and belong to. Bakery goods and desserts are won as Bingo prizes. Shopping includes mostly coupons, BOGO's and specials. I also save on generic rather than brand names as most are just as good. There are certain products I will not skimp on.
Just curious how others are doing since they no longer have a weekly income and may only have SS to rely on.

Neither of us have big appetites. Since we live strictly on SS, we've cut out almost all restaurant meals, maybe a pizza now and then or a sandwich from Subway. But not more than once a month, certainly. I cook maybe two big meals a week and we have potluck the rest of the time - leftovers, plus whatever I can scrounge up easily. I'm amazed at how little groceries I actually need to buy. If we didn't need fresh fruit and veggies sometimes, I could easily go to the store once a month and get everything I need. I could live on beans and rice, I swear. Hubby likes his meat.
