Why Clinton 16 and not Biden 16?

It's only happened twice (AFAIK) that a VP has successfully run for president. Biden was once a serious prospective president but today he's seen as the comic relief. He never looked better in his whole career than when he got to debate Sarah Palin, but this time there's a chance that the Republicans might actually pick someone with something on the ball. (Well, it could happen.)

Hillary is the Democrat with the biggest name recognition--probably because of her husband. The Republicans have turned Bill Clinton into America's Elder Statesman. Eight years of peace and prosperity--who wouldn't like to see that again? See how much Bill Clinton is mentioned in the 2016 campaign. Has any Republican talked about the great days of GW Bush? 8^P

I'm sure the answer to that question will be coming in 2016.

Hilary has at least one major mountain/question to

overcome that Vice President Biden does not,

and that relates to why she resigned as Secretary of State?

and a bigger question

would she resign the Presidency?
