Fibre Optic?

I recently went from DSL to Fibre Optic as the DSL was running ridiculous!

I thought I would go for Fibre Optic and this is going just as ridiculously slow!

It is meant to give a download speed of 40mbps, I am current receiving about 600KBPS!!!

I have contacted my service provider on several occassions since getting this 18month contract over 3 week ago.

They tell me to restart my modem, and they just generally sound like they think im talking a load of crap to them. (Like im gonna complain if I was receiving the fast speed I expected)

I am starting to lose my tether with Sky now, but obviously im now in a 18month contract with them!

I've had my master socket recently changed to try improve and nothing, I've even plugged an Ethernet cable straight from the modem and into my device and still it struggles to load up any form of pages!

Does anybody else have these problems, is there something I can do to improve this myself?!

Help please!

First try inserting a different ethernet card since yours seems to have broken.
