At max height v = 0 m/s for an instant
initial velocity = u = 9.9 m/s vertically up ... [taking up as the positive direction]
a = -g = -9.8 m/s²
v = 0 m/s
s = ?
v² = u² + 2as
s = [v² - u²] / (2a)
s = [0 - 9.9²] / [2 * (-9.8)]
s = 5.0 m (to 2 sig figs)
so she'll travel 5.0 m upwards before she falls back down

h(t)= -4.9t²+9.9t
maximum height t= -B/(2A)=9.9/(2*4.9); t≈1.0102s
h(1.0102)≈5.00m
