DMV Permit?
So im a minor and i wanna take the permit test. Yes i already have the driver ed certificate. But do i need to make an appointment for could i just walk in. I made an appointment and i gotta wait 3 months!

I suspect you are in California. If so, come on in..no appointment necessary. You need:certified copy birth cert or passport, ss#, drivers education cert, $33 & parents signature on aapplication. You will have to take a photo and read an eye chart, also be ready for a test. Sorry about the lack of appointments-AB 60 has made DMV a very busy place. I recommend tue or thur afternoons late in the month-next week! Come in around 3pm. There will be a wait-good time to review the handbook. Dmv.ca.gov for practice test and confirm my info. Good luck!
