Blurb ideas?

Hi, i need help coming up with a blurb. The genre is teen drama. In the story, it is reverse to conventional teen dramas and 'geek is chic'. Instead of all the stereotypical popular girls, being geek is now considered popular. Its kinda hard to explain but hopefully you understand what i mean! It will still include conventions such as boys, friends etc.

Anyway, i'm struggling to come up with a suitable blurb for this story. Can you help me!

The protagonist is a girl called Lara. I know it's vague but anything will be helpful haha, im having a mental block right now :p

Thank you!

Blurbs need a few elements, and the biggest thing they need is a suitable hook for your target audience. They also need active verbs and short, sharp descriptors so that the reader can quickly engage.

Verb tense: present, not past, not future

Protagonist: 2 modifiers, encapsulating core characteristics and/or relatable epithets

Option 1: introduce first major conflict in the story (the inciting incident) so that the reader is springboarded into the action

Option 2: focus on the conflict that is resolved in your climax, whatever decision or action must be made in order to settle the conflict

Big question: What does your protagonist want, why can't she have it, and what is she willing to do to get it?

Experiment with those elements and see what you come up with.

Literally no one can write blurb for a book *unless they have read it*. They don't know what your characters are going to do, or what the story is. If someone offers: "Lara, head of the popular chic geek clique, whose lank hair and complete lack of dress sense is imitated by all the 'in-crowd'..." you will very probably say no - but no one else knows Lara, or anything about her.
