Can I Be Scouted to a College Team if I Don't Play Club?

I'm a freshman in high school who's been playing field hockey for 4 years (and counting), but general answers about any sports are okay. Although I've wanted to play club field hockey since I was little, having two parents that work full-time and an older brother going to college (he just got accepted into one of the top pre-grad engineering programs in the US) have made it impossible for me. Even though I live in the city, most clubs are at least 1 hour into the deep suburbs, so distance is probably our biggest issue.

I know that excuses have never gotten anyone anywhere, but this is a genuine financial issue for us and I just want to know if playing all through high school is enough for college scouts to look at me twice. I'm only a freshman, but I started on our school's varsity team all season and never sat on the bench (which as a freshman at my school is amazing). Our team finished 2nd in our league, but we were disqualified from city playoffs due to matters out of our hands.

So anyone with advice or answers, please be honest with me here. I know the answer is probably "no", but I just want to make sure before I get my hopes up.

Well the answer is yes. Scouts job is to go out and find talent and recruit them. If you are still young then there is no reason you can't be scouted within the next 4 years. Just play every single game your hardest and be a great leader. Do well in High School (most important thing). Just give 100% day in and day out. Remember also that most colleges allow Walk On player tryouts for all sports too. Because not every single good player gets scouted. You just need to be in the right place at the right time. Remember that you never know who is watching you.
