  • Has anyone actually received a free item for being the "lucky" visitor on a website before?

So you know the random pop ups that you get when going to random websites and they sometimes say "You are today's lucky guest!" Or something like that and you win a new iPad or 500 dollar gift card or etc? Has anyone actually EVER received the free gift? I've never tried myself of course but I'm just curious if anyone just went for it to see what would happen and magically had a brand new IPad show up on their door step? I know they usually hold viruses or make you sign up for a bunch of stuff that will turn that brand new FREE Ipad into something you paid for in the end. Just curious of other people's experiences? Something I've always wondered. I personally highly doubt anyone has ever received stuff unless they paid for it by signing up for some sort of subscriptions. But with so many out their, you never know!?

  • Best Black Friday Tablet Deal?

Hey I was just wondering what everyone is thinking is the best deals for tablets on Black Friday this year? I don't care all that much about the brand, I just want it to be a decently good brand. Not a huge fan of apple products (I like them but just not for me) so no Ipads. We are going to buy quite a few tablets this year. We are probably buying a couple kindle Fires already (not for me) and hoping for a laptop (under 200) and another tablet with a key board or key board compatible (under 200). So just want to know what you guys think so far is the best deals or the best tablets. Just so you know we have all the major companies here (Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Staples, RadioShack, Sears, etc). Thanks

  • Buying a cheaper engagement ring at first?

Hello I'm pretty young still only 18 almost 19 and my girlfriend is about to turn 20 in a couple weeks but we have been together for about 2 and half years now and think I am ready to pop question. I know it's early but we already live together and I think we are just perfect. So since I'm only working a minimum wage job and she's in college, I can't afford to much. I'm thinking black Friday might be the best bet. I see rings that are usually 1000 or a bit more bucks, going for 300-400 bucks. I know that this is cheap still but she's not a person who wants that big diamond (unlike me the bigger the better haha). So would it be okay if I purchased one right now for this price then later on when we are better off, buy her another engagement ring. Or just wait until we are both at least 21 and get Married. She already told me not to spend over a 1000 dollars. And she said she's 100% okay with anything I get her. Thanks

Preferably heels since she loves heels. I'm looking in the price range of 100-300 dollar shoes. Depending on the price it will depend what else or what her other gifts will be come Christmas haha. • Shipping Question (scammed)?

So I got scammed by sending a package to a guy in Arkansas. I'm in Idaho and I don't want to go into details about how I got scammed since I explained it on another question I asked and it was super long. I sent him my phone which was a Samsung Galaxy S4 and put 200 dollars of insurance on it. Can I claim the package got lost or stolen at all and try to get my money back? Of course I wouldn't tell them I got scammed. It's with Fedex. I mean I know it's a long shot but just curious? Thanks

  • I got scammed. Please help me. I decided to trade a guy over Ebay. (I know Stupid) It was my Samsung Galaxy S4 for his IPhone 5s?

He offered me the trade and I said yes. I texted him for quite a while and we agreed to send each other proof of being sent with the receipt and tracking number. He was located in Arkansas and I am in Idaho. I sent him my phone and he sent me his (sorta). I tracked the phone he sent all the way and said it got delivered. It wasn't here at my apartments or the post office. So the post office called and told me the address with the tracking number isn't my apartments. They told me the real address and I went there to see if somehow there was a mix up. We saw the package on the door the step from the location in Arkansas. It was in envelope and I could tell it was a phone box. It didn't have my name or address on it. As much as I wanted to take it I couldn't since it's very illegal. It took all my strength to see it there and be forced to walk away. The person wasn't home and we sat in my car watching for a good couple hours but no show. The Arkansas scammer already posted my phone on Craigslist. I could care less but he posted it once I told him I knew what he did. He won't answer or reply to texts now of course. The add on Craigslist here has a phone iphone 5s (more then likely the same phone). The ad said the phone can be unlocked by the 21st and has no picture of the phone yet. Only a phone case. It's pretty obvious that he will ad the pictures today or tomorrow. I don't know what I could do like go to the police or what? I never can find straight answers for that stuff.

  • How to get HD with only cable and no box.?

We have a 55 inch LG 1080p HDTV and want to watch in HD. We live in apartments and we have cable TV without a box since they are hooked up for each apartment and it's free for us. I can only watch HD on Netflix through my PS4. We want to watch our cable in HD since it looks awful on such a big hdtv. I think there are converts for this? What are they called and how much are they? I know they aren't cheap.
