Why do so many female pop singers sound like they're 12?
I hate pop but I have to listen to it over the speakers at work all day. I find myself laughing at each song as it comes on, because all the women sound the same, and they all sound like little kids. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and/or knows if there's a reason why. Gracias!

I think it's because they have the mentality of a twelve-year-old. Also, I think pop music requires less talent than most (or, perhaps, all) genres of music to sound halfway decent, and a lot of people who like pop music have low standards and like stuff that doesn't even sound halfway decent, so a lot of untalented, idiotic, I-think-I'm-cute-when-I-play dumb chicks get into pop music.

I don't think the majority of them do unless you're talking about like Jpop. Otherwise you must hear some mature-sounding 12 year olds.
