Just saw a trailer for the new star wars movie today. It looks like some BS featuring yet ANOTHER death star with absolutely no sign of Luke Skywalker or any continuation of the plot from the last movie. I waded through that entire crapfest of the force awakens just to find out wtf happens to luke, and NO! DENIED! I am done with this ****ing ****! Star Wars died in the 80 s as far as I m concerned.

The day approaches but I can't for the life of me find a gift for my dad. I've been in every store and read every ideas list online and still nothing. All the suggestions are for the same things, none of which he likes. He doesn't drink, doesnt play golf, doesnt garden, doesnt use technology or gadgets, doesnt need wallets, clothes or shaving stuff, doesnt go to the movies, doesnt go camping, isnt into sports, isnt a movie or music fan, and hates gift cards. I survived for years getting him things he could use at work but now he's retired so I'm up a creek.

Yeah, I know, good luck right? Any suggestions are enormously appreciated!

I'm eating one and it got me wondering...

I hate pop but I have to listen to it over the speakers at work all day. I find myself laughing at each song as it comes on, because all the women sound the same, and they all sound like little kids. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and/or knows if there's a reason why. Gracias!

Personally, I get a little angry whenever I see/hear that cliche, since the people who preach it don't follow it.

From what I know of Star Wars lore, the Chosen One was meant to bring balance to the force. Balance between light and dark. At the end of Ep. 3, there were only 2 Jedi left, Yoda and Ben Kenobi, and 2 Sith, Sidious and Vader. One really powerful and one less powerful on each side. That sounds like balance to me. Discuss... :)

I know it's probably just because McDonald's is loaded enough to pay to be the sponsor but still... When the CEO's of a place selling gawd-aweful unhealthy food want to sponsor an event promoting athleticism and health, shouldn't the committee have told them to f*** off? I would have.
