One night I was trying to sleep, when suddenly I started to feel scared but I couldn't move or speak. It felt like something was placed on top of me holding me down so I couldn't move. It almost felt as if some kind of an evil presence had came into the room.

Is called sleep paralysis my good friend, I get that quiet often that now I somewhat enjoy it, when it first happened I thought I saw a small heavy human like creature of some sort sitting on my chest.

It's called sleep paralysis. It's nothing to be afraid of, just this weird thing that your brain does after your body having been still for a while. Google it for more info.
