Am I required to give my tenant 30 days notice if their actual lease expires in 30 days if I expect them to vacate?

    If you want them to vacate at the end of the lease, most states require that you give a 30 day notice.

    Yes, you have to give your tenant proper notice per your state's landlord/tenant laws if you are not renewing his lease and you want him to vacate.

    If you are going to be a LL, you need to know the laws for your state.

    "fahQ" is wrong. You have to give the notice required by state law - usually 30 or 60 days.
